Safe.Cab is our national safeguarding programme for licensed taxi and private hire drivers. It runs as a series of campaign topics, each focused on a specific safeguarding gap. Accredited drivers receive ongoing intelligence, guidance, and reporting tools through Omni.

Trained drivers, supported continuously.
Every licensed driver in the UK completes safeguarding training as part of their licence. The training is delivered once, often years ago. Nothing nationally consistent provides ongoing intelligence, current alerts, or direct reporting tools to the trained driver workforce.
Safe.Cab fills that gap. Drivers nominated by their council are accredited as Safe.Cab providers and receive topic-specific guidance direct to Omni, our app for the licensed trade.
